This Iphone App gives information on many local walks in Snowdonia: Clogau is 20 minutes away, the Precipice Walk is 10 minutes away, Glyn Aran is 15 minutes away, The Torrent Walk is 20 minutes away, the Mawddach Trail is 15 minutes away, Tomon y Mur is 30 minutes, Abergwynant Woods 20 minutes, King Guards Trail 10 minutes, Afon Eden 10 minutes.
The Volcano Trail is a 7 mile walk that starts from Coed y Brenin, but you can start and finish at Tyn y Simdde, turn left at the end of the drive and follow the tarmac road, after half a mile the Volcano Trail joins from the right, follow the trail round but miss out car park by going from point 5 to point 2, after point 4 stay on the forestry road and you will end up back on the tarmac road just above Tyn y Simdde.
The Mawddach Trail Website has links to local walks and GPS and anquet routes so you can follow them on your smartphone or GPS. The Precipice walk, New Precipice Walk, Mawddach Trail, Torrent Walk and Panorama Walk are all stunning
